5. Reverse the motor direction. E.g., my curtain is closing when I press the open button.

   • Make sure the remote is paired with the motor: press OPEN or CLOSE on the remote, and the motor responds and moves the curtain back or forth;
     Then hold the OPEN and CLOSE buttons simultaneously, the motor will vibrate and the curtain might be moved a little bit;
     Right after vibration, quickly press the STOP button three times, the motor will vibrate again. The direction should be reversed now.

   • Fasten the ceiling brackets to the "L" shaped wall brackets using the provided bolts and nuts. It is recommended to use a stud finder to secure the brackets bolts to the house's wooden frame. Bolt the short end of the "L" to the wall with the short end facing down.

1. What is included in the package?
   A: See the above Section B. It includes all needed parts and accessories for the smart curtain system except for the curtain fabric.


2. What kind of drapes work with this smart curtain system?
   A: Any kind of drapes that can be hung on or hooked to the runners, e.g., pinch pleated drapes.


3. What is the maximum load?
   A: The maximum load is 100 lbs.


4. Is it easy to assemble? Can I install it by myself?
   A: Yes, it is a DIY product so you could install it by following the video guide and instruction manual. We also have an electronic version online.


5. Does it work for bay or curved windows?
   A: This model only works for straight windows, or those windows with two or more sides are straight.


6. How do I choose the right model for my windows?
   A: Our models are categorized by length. The maximum length of coverage is marked in the model, so you just need to measure the width of coverage for your windows. As there are two gearboxes attached to the end of tracks, the actual coverage is 4 inch longer than the marked length. For example, the 10ft rod version is suitable for windows up to 10ft 4in; while the 13ft rod version is up to 13ft 4in.


7. Your models are categorized by every 39 inches (precisely 1 meter). What if my window is not exactly in whole meters, say 3.5 meters?
   A: Our models are easy to customize. You can simply adjust the length by removing unnecessary segments, no need to cut the rod. Check track customization for different length combinations. If you want to be precise (accurate within 4 in), you can always cut the rod by saw to meet your requirements.


8. Why my curtain system will not automatically stop when fully opened or closed?
   A: Our curtain system should automatically stop when fully opened or closed. If it fails, you must tighten the tension of the steel wire following the user manual. Make sure to first tighten the wire before adjusting the hexagon at the end.


9. What if I need dual track system?
   A: Dual track requires two sets of curtain systems (simply align them side by side) so each of them can operate individually. But you can use one remote to control both of them simultaneously using the same control channel. Note that if you plan to do wall mounting for dual tracks, you would need dual wall mounting brackets which are differnt from the single wall brackets included in the package. 10. Can I set up the curtain to open from the center and later open from the left/right? Or, can I control both sides of the curtain individually for the central opening?
    A: No. You must choose the opening mode before installation. After installation, the opening mode is fixed. If you want to change the opening mode, you would need to reinstall it.


11. What if I have a window wider than 20 ft?
    A: Tracks can be extended to cover wider windows or corner installation. You would need two sets of curtain systems, each of which is half of your window length, as demonstrated below.
